   Working with the Yolo County Superintendent of Schools office, W.O.H. 

   showcases professional and Theatre for Families artists during the school year

   that local schools bring their students, grades K-12, to see for a very small fee

   per attendee. Outreach show attendance is reserved through your child’s

   teacher or resource person in advance with the W.O.H Box Office

 Into the Woods, Jr.

Into the Woods, Jr. is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales that follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel-all tied together by an original story involving the backer and his wife, and the witch who has put a curse on them. This 1 hour adaptation of one of Sondheim’s most popular works is perfect for grades 2-12. Tickets are $5 each.

Disney's Winnie the Pooh, KIDS

Friday, September 25, 2015: 9:30 & 12:30

A delightful new show based on the beloved characters of A.A. Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film. Featuring favorite songs from the film as well as new hits by the Academy Award-winning Robert and Kristen Lopez (Frozen), this honey-filled delight is as sweet as it is fun. Winnie the Pooh, KIDS is a Rising Stars Workshop performed by students ages 7 and up. The show runs approximately 40 minutes and is perfect for K-3 grade audiences. Tickets are $2 each.


Kenn Adam's Adventure Theatre! Episode I: Adventure in Space!

Attention Teachers, students, and heroes of all ages! Fun and learning are coming your way with Kenn Adam's Adventure Theater! Episode I: Adventure in Space! Be a part of this zany, interactive theatrical adventure where audience members make all of the sound effects, help to create the story, and leap up on stage to play the main characters. You'll blast off in a flying saucer, do battle with a horrible space-monster, meet the strange, three-headed space-wizard, defeat the villain, and save the world! And, you might even learn a bit about child empowerment and "finding the hero in all of us." Kenn Adams' Adventure Theater! meets California Common Core State Standards in reading, writing, English-language arts, and theater. 

Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet

The classic Shakespeare tragedy goes from page to stage. An adult cast will bring the familiar story to life allowing students to have a greater appreciation of Shakespeare’s masterpiece. This show is for high school audiences. The show will run approximately 2 hours. Tickets are $5 each.

Disney's Sleeping Beauty KIDS

It's Princess Aurora's sixteenth birthday, and three fairies - Flora, Fauna and Merryweather - must use their magic to save her from the spell of evil sorceress Maleficent! Songs from the beloved Disney film, including "Once upon a Dream," accompany fun new songs like "Maleficent!" and "A Little Magic Now" to bring a fresh telling of this classic fairytale. Sleeping Beauty KIDS is a Rising Stars Workshop performed by students ages 7 and up. The show runs approximately 40 minutes and is perfect for K-3 grade audiences. Tickets are $2 each.

How I Became a Pirate

Sail off on a fantastic musical excursion when a band of comical pirates lands at North Beach. From the popular children’s book by Melinda Long the story follows Jeremy Jacob who discovers that home and love are treasures you can’t find on any map. This 1 hour show is perfect for grades K-6. Tickets are $5 each.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Based on the classic novel by C.S. Lewis, it is the story of four London children sent to the country during World War II. There they find a magic wardrobe that leads them to a mystical land called Narnia. This 1 hour show is perfect for grades 2-12. Tickets are $5 each.
