For kids and teens, our Rising Stars Audition Workshops are held before each Rising Stars audition, providing valuable tips and practice to boost their confidence. For adults, we offer tailored workshops before upcoming auditions, equipping you with the skills and insights to make a lasting impression. Experience the magic of Broadway right here at the Woodland Opera House with our Broadway Masterclasses! We host exclusive dance and vocal workshops led by cast members from Broadway national tours and leading industry professionals. These masterclasses offer a unique opportunity to learn from the best, refine your skills, and gain insider knowledge of the theatre world. Join us for an unforgettable experience that brings the thrill of Broadway to you! All include a short Q&A session. 

Dress Code:

Dance Workshops: comfortable dance or workout attire that you can move well in. Jazz shoes or jazz sneakers (or appropriate footwear for the masterclass.)

Vocal Workshops: Comfortable attire. 

Acting Workshops: Comfortable attire. 

Our Contemporary Dance program at the Woodland Opera House offers dynamic, intermediate-level training for individuals aged 16 and above (or with instructor approval based on skill.) Designed to enhance technique and creativity, this program provides a supportive environment where dancers can explore modern choreography, develop their unique style, and build confidence on stage. Join us to elevate your dance skills and express yourself through the captivating art of contemporary dance.

Dancers must be in Level 3 ballet or higher or if an adult, equivalent experience to enroll. Administrative approval and placement assessment is needed for outside students to attend.

Dress Code:
​Solid black leotard, solid pink ballet tights, tan turning shoes and/or Foot Undeez. Optional: Black fitted ballet shorts. Male/male identifying: black leggings or shorts, white or black t-shirt, ballet shoes. 

Join our vibrant and expanding Hip-Hop program at the Woodland Opera House! With classes available for all skill levels, from ages 5 through adult, our program offers a fun and energetic environment where dancers can learn the latest moves, improve their technique, and express their creativity. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced dancer, our experienced instructors are here to guide you on your Hip-Hop journey.

Dress Code:

Step into rhythm with our Tap program at the Woodland Opera House! Open to all ages, from 3 to adult, our tap classes cater to beginners and seasoned tappers alike. Learn the fundamentals, refine your technique, and enjoy the fun and energy of tap dancing. Join us to make some noise and express yourself through the lively art of tap!
