We host exclusive dance and vocal workshops led by cast members from Broadway national tours and leading industry professionals. These masterclasses offer a unique opportunity to learn from the best, refine your skills, and gain insider knowledge of the theatre world. Join us for an unforgettable experience that brings the thrill of Broadway to you! All include a short Q&A session. 

Dress Code:

Dance Workshops: comfortable dance or workout attire that you can move well in. Jazz shoes or jazz sneakers (or appropriate footwear for the masterclass.)

Vocal Workshops: Comfortable attire. 

Acting Workshops: Comfortable attire. 

Discover the excitement of our Jazz program at the Woodland Opera House! Catering to all levels, from beginner to advanced, and open to ages 5 through adult, our classes cover a diverse range of styles, including sassy, commercial, and musical theatre jazz. Join us to improve your technique, boost your confidence, and express your personality through the dynamic world of jazz dance.

Dress Code: Solid black leotard, black dance shorts or black leggings. Black jazz shoes. ​

Join our exciting Themed Musical Theatre Workshops at the Woodland Opera House! Held each Fall and Spring, these 8 to 9 week sessions culminate in a themed musical revue performed on our historic stage. With classes for Kinder through 2nd grade, 3rd through 5th grade, 6th through 12th grade, and Advanced Musical Theatre, we offer multiple options tailored to each age group. Participants will learn singing, dancing, and acting skills while working towards a spectacular final performance. Unleash your inner star and create unforgettable memories in our vibrant and supportive community!

Each session gets their own costume T-shirt to wear for the performances.

Fall 2026: Lights! Camera! Broadway! Runs September 25th - December 5th. Registration opens July 1st. 
Dress Rehearsal: Saturday, December 4th 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
Performances: Saturday, December 5th at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm 

Spring 2027: Into the Wild Runs February 8th through April 11th. Registration opens December 1st.
Classes Begin week of February 8th, 2027.
Dress Rehearsal: Saturday, April 10th 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Performances: Saturday, April 10th and Sunday, April 11th at 2 pm.
