For kids and teens, our Rising Stars Audition Workshops are held before each Rising Stars audition, providing valuable tips and practice to boost their confidence. For adults, we offer tailored workshops before upcoming auditions, equipping you with the skills and insights to make a lasting impression. Experience the magic of Broadway right here at the Woodland Opera House with our Broadway Masterclasses! We host exclusive dance and vocal workshops led by cast members from Broadway national tours and leading industry professionals. These masterclasses offer a unique opportunity to learn from the best, refine your skills, and gain insider knowledge of the theatre world. Join us for an unforgettable experience that brings the thrill of Broadway to you! All include a short Q&A session. 

Dress Code:

Dance Workshops: comfortable dance or workout attire that you can move well in. Jazz shoes or jazz sneakers (or appropriate footwear for the masterclass.)

Vocal Workshops: Comfortable attire. 

Acting Workshops: Comfortable attire. 

Join our exciting Themed Musical Theatre Workshops at the Woodland Opera House! Held each Fall and Spring, these 8 to 9 week sessions culminate in a themed musical revue performed on our historic stage. With classes for Kinder through 2nd grade, 3rd through 5th grade, and 6th through 12th grade, we offer multiple options tailored to each age group. Participants will learn singing, dancing, and acting skills while working towards a spectacular final performance. Unleash your inner star and create unforgettable memories in our vibrant and supportive community!

Each session gets their own costume T-shirt to wear for the performances.

Fall 2025: Heroes v. Villains. Runs September 30th - December 14th. Registration opens July 1st. (New Advanced Musical Theatre Workshop for HS ages this fall!) 
Dress Rehearsal: Saturday, December 13th 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Performances: Saturday, December 13th and Sunday, December 14th at 2 pm. 

Spring 2026: Misfits and Magic. Runs February 10th throughApril 19th. Registration opens December 1st.
Classes Begin week of February 9th, 2026.
Dress Rehearsal: Saturday, April 18th 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Performances: Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th at 2 pm.
