At the Woodland Opera House, our ballet class offerings are designed to inspire and challenge youth dancers of all ages and skill levels. Whether your child is a beginner looking to learn the basics of ballet or an experienced dancer aiming to refine their technique, our classes provide a supportive and enriching environment. Led by experienced instructors, our ballet program focuses on classical ballet techniques combined with elements of modern dance to enhance physical dexterity and artistic expression. We host exclusive dance and vocal workshops led by cast members from Broadway national tours and leading industry professionals. These masterclasses offer a unique opportunity to learn from the best, refine your skills, and gain insider knowledge of the theatre world. Join us for an unforgettable experience that brings the thrill of Broadway to you! All include a short Q&A session.

Our Contemporary Dance program at the Woodland Opera House offers dynamic, intermediate-level training for individuals aged 16 and above (or with instructor approval based on skill.) Designed to enhance technique and creativity, this program provides a supportive environment where dancers can explore modern choreography, develop their unique style, and build confidence on stage. Join us to elevate your dance skills and express yourself through the captivating art of contemporary dance.

Dancers must be in Level 3 ballet or higher or if an adult, equivalent experience to enroll. Administrative approval and placement assessment is needed for outside students to attend.

Dress Code:

Join our vibrant and expanding Hip-Hop program at the Woodland Opera House! With classes available for all skill levels, from ages 5 through adult, our program offers a fun and energetic environment where dancers can learn the latest moves, improve their technique, and express their creativity. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced dancer, our experienced instructors are here to guide you on your Hip-Hop journey.

Introducing our new Homeschool Workshops at the Woodland Opera House! Designed specifically for homeschool students, these workshops offer a unique opportunity to explore the world of theatre through engaging and interactive sessions. Students will develop their acting skills, build confidence, and collaborate with peers in a creative and supportive environment. Join us for an enriching experience that brings the magic of the stage to your homeschool curriculum.

Join our exciting Themed Musical Theatre Workshops at the Woodland Opera House! Held each Fall and Spring, these 8 to 9 week sessions culminate in a themed musical revue performed on our historic stage. With classes for Kinder through 2nd grade, 3rd through 5th grade, and 6th through 12th grade, we offer multiple options tailored to each age group. Participants will learn singing, dancing, and acting skills while working towards a spectacular final performance. Unleash your inner star and create unforgettable memories in our vibrant and supportive community!

Each session gets their own costume T-shirt to wear for the performances.

Enrollment Opens January 8th! - Join us for an unforgettable summer of music, dance, and fun as we step into the spotlight with ShowBiz Kidz: Tinseltown Tunes! This exciting camp runs from June 16th through July 13th, 2025, and culminates in a fully produced musical revue celebrating the magic of Hollywood.
We offer three age-specific groups to ensure every performer gets the best experience possible:

Morning Group

• Ages: 8-10
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM

Afternoon Group

• Ages: 11-17
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–4:00 PM

​Junior Group

• Ages: 5-7 (must have completed kindergarten)
• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 4:30 PM–5:30 PM

• Tuition: $400 for Morning and Afternoon Groups (non-refundable once paid in full).
• Payment Deadline: May 16th, 2025.
• Mandatory Attendance: All rehearsals and performances are required.
• Age Brackets: Age requirements are firm; students must meet the minimum age by the start of camp.
