Peter and the Wolf & The Nutcracker "Sweet"

Two beautiful ballet one-acts presented in one production! Sergei Prokoviev’s Symphonic Fairy Tale for children comes to life in this winter premiere of Peter and the Wolf at the Woodland Opera House. See young Peter and his animal friends capture the hungry wolf in this charming ballet performed by dancers from the Opera House’s Education Department dance program.

The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid is based on the 1989 film by Walt Disney Animation Studios. With several additions, this familiar story of Ariel and her search for something beyond the sea is perfect for families, those seeking nostalgia, and Disney enthusiasts.

The Opera House will present two short performances in one evening through the Rising Stars education program, Magic Tree House: The Knight at Dawn KIDS and Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon KIDS. Come experience the magic of the hit children’s book series on stage.

The Crucible

March 20-April 4, 2026

Morality. Truth. Fear. Since its premier in 1953, The Crucible, written by Arthur Miller, has challenged audiences through its chilling depiction of 1690s Salem during the Witch Trials as an allegory for McCarthyism.

Billy Elliot

May 1-16, 2026

Based on the movie of the same name, Billy Elliot is the inspiring story of a young man struggling to find himself. Through dance, he discovers that the only limitations in life are the ones we place on ourselves.
